BURDA HISTORIC DRESS (1888): The fitted jacket is sewn from two fabrics with narrow three-quarter sleeves and standing collar and has a back pleated peplum. It is authentically embellished with ribbons and lace and with many buttons. The skirt with bustle is made of two sections. The overskirt is gathered at the back and fastened to the skirt beneath. The skirts are supported by a stuffed bustle. ©2007
