Girls’ Dress & Top: The very loose-fitting design can be made as a dress, falling either two inches below or above the knee, or as a top. It features a round neckline with a front slit, with the option to use purchased ribbon or cording ties. The front and back are gathered into yokes, which can be made from self or contrast fabric. Full-length sleeves are gathered at the cap and elasticised at the wrists. Additional options include adding purchased lace and ribbon trim or a self hemline ruffle, as well as using purchased ribbon trim at the yokes for added embellishment. ©1970’s.
